Jayson Williams Is Sentenced To 5 Years

According to NY Daily News:

The former New Jersey Nets player pleaded guilty Monday to fatally shooting his limo driver with a shotgun and has agreed - as part of his plea deal - to serve 18 months to five years in jail.
Williams, 41, who would be eligible for parole after serving the minimum, calmly admitted that he failed to check that the safety was on before he closed the shotgun with a snap - and it fired off a round that felled Costas (Gus) Christofi.

"I didn't look in the direction the muzzle of the gun was pointed," he said, before admitting that his handling of the gun was reckless.
It was not clear when Williams will be sentenced. He has been free on bail since the February 2002 shooting.
His guilty plea to an aggravated assault charge closes the book on a case that took eight years to resolve and brought only a measure of justice that the Christofi family had been seeking.
Williams was facing retrial for a more serious charge - reckless manslaughter - for accidentally killing the 55-year-old driver.
There was no immediate reaction from Christofi's family.

Tim Gunn Says The Kardashians Have No Taste

In an interview with WonderWall, the Guide To Style and Project Runway host gives his two cents about the Kardashians and their line with Bebe (all they basically did was do a collabo w/ females that already wear all of their stuff which works out perfect for the line, but Tim still has a point about celebs who never even design anything):

WW: Are you a supporter of the Kardashians’ line with Bebe?

TG: No! I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don’t think that that should be perpetuated. I’m sorry I’m sounding like an old farty snob but it bothers me.

WW: You sound like somebody who’s telling the truth.

TG: I will say in general with celebrity labels, with the understanding that they’re not actually designing them, but you hope in a way that they’re not overseeing them either. I’m all in favor of anything that employs young designers.

Dexter's Michael C. Hall, who is getting treated for Hodgkin's lymphoma, looks strong as he runs errands in Hollywood on Thrusday. The resilient actor said that his disease is "treatable and curable".
